Why is this important for Sui and the entire Web3? Let's first analyze why this is important for Sui. By analyzing the TOP 100 cryptocurrencies, we have Bitcoin as the absolute king with a total of 69% of all liquidity. For comparison, Sui has only 0.31% of liquidity share within the TOP 100. So opening a fast and safe path to this liquidity brings a lot of value and increases the strength of Sui. Many solutions have tried to provide access to liquidity, the most recent being Bitcoin's L2, but they never gained traction, precisely because they are copies of Ethereum's L2 but often with inferior technology to traditional L2s and L1s, they provide less security, cannot inherit Bitcoin's decentralization, cannot generate efficient transactions if there is high demand and in peak times they generate very high costs per transaction. Native, on the other hand, solved all these issues!
