Many of you asked how we can prevent selling leading up to the claim day. An option I strongly favor is Sablier Airstreams, which are airdrops that gradually vest over a specified time period. This would remove any benefit to front-running claim day.

I think a continuous linear vesting period of two months for all claims would be ideal, but I don't want to launch this without community support so I'm putting it to a vote.

I encourage you to consider the benefits:

- Smooths price action
- Improves narratives
- Provides time to build things that can make Farther more sustainable

The poll on gradual claim distribution over two months was rejected. 

However, given it was a somewhat close vote, I think a fair compromise is to use a vesting period of one month. This will eliminate any advantage in people strategically selling right before claim day.

Agree with you wholeheartedly as that’s the current culture here and unfortunately that’s what’s expected which is kinda hard to change that mentality that have been instilled for many months … people don’t like change but a very few see the potential on this as I am very curious to see how this unfolds … this is the only project thinking outside the box consistently.

Tipping by itself is unsustainable. I'm trying to create a prediction market which could create real value and sustainability but will take time.

Unfortunately its clear the only thing many people care about is farming tokens they can sell each month. I don't think there is anything I can do about it but hope some people stick around and realize long-term value and utility take time to develop.

Fine but what’s the strategy to perhaps increase the value of the token?. The experiments are dope and keeping the people engaged but I honestly think this way of onboarding is not effective at all this  is frustrating a lot of holders who are dumping on the daily and most people at this point are just waiting for a slight increase to dump. 

Again… whats being done for the project to thrive long term ?

Even worse when the poll is broke and a large sample couldn't broke due to some bad token check. Just do what you think is right.

Honestly these kinds of polls are not at all scientific, so while it might check the overall temperature, it's not a random sample and may not be any better than blindly throwing darts.
