New game plan coming soon.
It has become clear some tippers are engaging in short-term extractive behavior. So beginning within the next day, new restrictions will be enforced:
1. Tips to other tippers won't count toward your tipper score.
2. Within a 7 day rolling window...
- a max of 15% of allowance can be given to other tippers
- a max

The 15% weekly limit to tippers has been made more lenient. It previously was checking if the recipient had tipped during the month. Now it will only check if they currently have an allowance.
Please tip people *outside* of the tipping community. Farther has no chance of growing unless you do.

If Farcaster grows, we all benefit.
Farcaster won't grow if the majority of accounts are bots, spam creators, or people trading tips to farm tokens.
Farther aims to help change that culture, and hopefully create a mutually beneficial relationship with Farcaster as quality users increase.

Server issues seem to be resolved.
If you didn't receive a reply from @fartherbot on any tips, they likely weren't registered. Some were coming through.
Given the reset just happened, we're going to continue this cycle as usual.

I know some of you are upset about frequent changes, but this is a very nascent system that requires fine tuning. That's much easier now that we have a few weeks of data.
The following fixes will be deployed later today which will significantly benefit authentic, consistent tippers over bots:

I've noticed this and am working on a fix.
OpenRank engagement scores are very volatile for newer users compared to older users, and @ayush1939 tipped a user with an extremely low engagement score.
I have a dampener in the scoring algorithm, but it clearly needs to be increased. Thank you for your understanding.

The poll on gradual claim distribution over two months was rejected.
However, given it was a somewhat close vote, I think a fair compromise is to use a vesting period of one month. This will eliminate any advantage in people strategically selling right before claim day.

Many of you asked how we can prevent selling leading up to the claim day. An option I strongly favor is Sablier Airstreams, which are airdrops that gradually vest over a specified time period. This would remove any benefit to front-running claim day.
