After spending a lot of time and energy, I finally managed to pick a full bucket of sour cherries.
You might not believe it, but picking sour cherries is truly difficult
you have to be careful not to crush them, and unlike sweet cherries, they cling very tightly to the branches.
There’s something interesting about trees, something I’ve truly felt:
when we pick their fruits, it’s like we’re thanking them.
If we don’t harvest the fruit, or if we don’t express gratitude while doing so,
the tree might feel as if it’s no longer useful, and maybe next year, it won’t bear as much fruit.
There’s a gentle, living spirit flowing through all beings on this Earth
and we must learn to feel it with all our heart.
Because our relationship with nature is not just about consumption…
It’s a mutual connection, built on respect, gratitude, and deep understanding. 19 replies
