GM dreamers!  Up bright and early today to get the kiddo off to school.  

There are issues there, and I’m trying not to get too frustrated and stressed.  See. Kiddo has autism.  She’s ’high functioning’ but also struggles with mental health, sensory processing disorder and is occasionally non-verbal.  When stressed she goes into autistic shit down.

The school system is not equipped to handle this.  They see her intelligence and expression, then call her shut down behavioral rather than functional.  She’s too ‘high functioning’ for special education, but needs more help than general education can provide.

We’re looking for alternatives, at 19 she’s at the end of her rope with it.
