IMHO Robinhood isn’t doing anything that new or exciting here. Others have tried. RH is already running into potential legal hurdles.  A company I worked for promised the same tech and the blockchain element became a gimmick. 

ICE (the owner of the NYSE) bought that company and gutted the company. They basically just bought it for the patent on the blockchain ATS,

They are essentially just making Frankenstein’s Monster by stitching together parts of different financial instruments from defi and tradfi
