let me repeat what i've been saying for years: ssr is a scam to squeeze money out of devs i pay $80/mo to cater to 100,000,000+ people daily https://blog.borodutch.com/i-never-use-ssr-and-you-shouldnt-either/

You might like ArrowJS. Micro reactivity framework that uses all JavaScript primitives. Extremely lightweight.

I believe so? Main thing is reactivity without any build process by leveraging native features. Module scope, template literals, etc. โA love letter to JavaScriptโ sums it up nicely.

just checked it out, it's 2kb vs 3kb in preact, but looks like it is not compatible with react npm modules which is a big issue but ty for the recommendation

Yeah, 100% youโd be on your own. Best usecase I can think of it micro-UIs where you donโt want to maintain build process long-term. Worst thing is coming back to a project 3 years later and nothing will compile anymore for reasons. We broke the web. Arrow is an example of working within its native scope.
