The ETH pivot now has a clear tagline:
1. Scale L1
If @ethereum succeeds in truly scaling its Layer 1, it would be a massive game changer. It would reintroduce strong incentives to use the mainnet for applications that demand maximum security, while preserving enough on-chain activity to maintain ETH’s deflationary pressure.

6/ The job of the co-executive directors is to both achieve the EF’s objectives and to champion our values: censorship resistance, open source innovation, privacy, and security.

7/ Ensuring Ethereum lives up to those values requires constant progress. Our objectives for the next 12 months are clear:

- Scaling Ethereum L1
- Scaling blobs
- Improving UX

3. Improve UX
User experience remains one of the biggest bottlenecks. Ethereum and its L2 ecosystem are still too complex for mainstream users. Simplifying UX — especially with efforts like @optimism's push for L2 interoperability — could unify the network experience and make Ethereum much more accessible and attractive.

If Ethereum delivers across these three dimensions, it could mark the true beginning of its next major cycle.

2. Scale blobs
Scaling blobs is absolutely critical. It will massively boost the scalability of L2s like @base, @optimism, @arbitrum, @starknet, and others. As blob capacity grows, L2s will offer higher throughput and significantly lower fees, unlocking a vast new range of applications.
