The absence of Oppo 

Research companies Canalys and IDC have published reports on the state of the global smartphone market in the second quarter of 2025. In April-June, Canalys recorded a slight decline in shipments, associated with the fading of the wave of replacement of devices purchased during the pandemic. Looking at the top five leading global brands, one can be surprised to find the absence of OPPO: the company was pushed out by the Transsion holding, which researchers for some reason consider the combined volumes of Tecno, Infinix and Itel, but do not do this with OPPO and Vivo and their sub-brands, which are subsidiaries of the BBK holding.
