One of the most interesting historical places is the tomb of Cyrus the Great in Pasargad. Knowing that this person formed one of the largest empires in history and that people were in peace during his rule gives me a wonderful feeling. Did you know this great man?

The tomb has been a site of reverence for centuries. Alexander the Great, upon conquering the Achaemenid Empire, is said to have visited and paid respects at the tomb of Cyrus.
