everyone claiming NFTs are dead and will never again see the inflated prices of the 21/22 mania what happens when an entire generation of kids who grew up playing Roblox / Fortnite join the workforce and have disposable income? 1 in 2 kids under 16 is playing these games daily in the US

On one hand I agree with this assumption (I was discussing the marketing power of sneakers in Fortnite yesterday evening), on the other hand this generation is used own nothing (you don't own your fortnite skins, and your digital pokemon cards).

I didn’t own my WoW gear or the golden ammassed either, but I can’t help but imagine what it would’ve been like if NFTs existed back then and I could translate all that time spent grinding into actual income, even if it was passive

Definitely and I wish it would be the case but it means that even then there will be a explanation work to do about the benefits of the NFT technology. What I wanted to say is that it won't be natural.

I think if you abstract enough of it away and kids are just buying skins, items or in-game currency without realising it’s even on a blockchain they can have all the benefits without the friction and learning curve people have had to endure in the past
