A book that makes me sad 📚 Homegoing 👍 Yaa Gyasi 💜 The framework of this novel is very special. It features 14 characters and tells the story of two branches of eight generations. The settings of each person in the two branches are different, telling the fate of people of the same bloodline in different times and places. In the end, the characters of the two branches meet and search for their roots together. 🤔 People's thoughts on "roots" and their desire to "search for roots" can be seen everywhere in the story. Listening to the stories of the past told by the older generation, or even touching the objects left by the elders, is also a connection with the "roots". Whether or not you have set foot on the land of your hometown, you will have a strong feeling for your hometown.
