🧵 Made my own Farcast about what might happen next: Farcaster — specifically the project's CEO, @dwr.eth — has stated that Pro subscribers and NFT holders will not have any advantages, and that this won’t grant them any rewards from the project. But let’s be honest: there are only 10,000 NFTs, which means these are the most loyal users willing to financially support the protocol. Now imagine a “third-party project” suddenly deciding to airdrop something to those 10,000 NFT holders — let’s say a “new hyped token” right before Base Summer kicks off and Farcaster starts trending. Oh, a move like that would definitely spark a wave of hype and attract a lot of new users to the ecosystem, hoping to catch the next airdrops.

This would be similar to buying a Solana PFP, the Aptos phone, or something from TON — where you invest in the project for the idea and later get rewarded with drops that cover your investment and bring profit. Farcaster has everything it needs: a smart team, a growing user base, and the power of the Base network. In short — all the ingredients to drop a ton of value.

3rd parties usually decide themselves how to distribute rewards or airdrops by using onchain data, but having Pro badge might still be useful in decision making, I believe.
