just found out those viral 2022 "are we dating the same guy?" Facebook groups evolved into an app printing $200k/month with ~1M users (no VC $$) must verify as a woman before you join, all posts anonymous, men searchable by name, can pay for info services like background checks, reverse image search, etc

There is a whole internet subculture of male dating advice called the red pill. It’s a pretty wide range and a lot of it rage bait. I think there are some valid critiques of western dating culture though. The whole passport bros phenomenon of guys finding wives from different countries is interesting to disect

I remember the passport Bros culture was getting so large that guys traveling started getting set up 🔪 more often because they would come with a whole bunch of cash looking for women and didn't know how to speak the native language 😭
