Why ship Farcaster Pro with just a badge? Why not wait until the other benefits are ready? 1. It’s optional. If you think that’s dumb, you can either wait to subscribe or just skip subscribing completely. 2. For startups, every day you delay something matters. Every time you say “this thing is different and worth delaying” you degrade your one true advantage as a startup: speed. It compounds. And then a few years later when it ultimately doesn’t work out, you likely missed out on something like 100% more opportunities to ship. Action produces information. Your pre-product-market-fit startup is not Apple.

Israel continues to commit genocide, and the world still justifies these atrocities. And pay attention to the headlines from many outlets - “receives remains”, “loses children” - instead of saying that Israel targeted and killed them, and of course the quotes from the occupation army to justify the killing. Seeing Voices by Lauren Lee McCarthy. A series of AI images generated based on phrases spoken in live sessions of Voice In My Head. In that performance, participants place a bud in their ear and are guided by an AI-augmented voice in their head that listens in and offers commentary. Each text phrase is rendered visually with a drawing, where the artist performs the role of a machine interpreter. Minted at Bright Moments Paris, February 2024.
