EthCC takeaways - stablecoins and more stablecoins. heard lots of cool mechanisms - never heard so many people talk about revenue before in crypto. loved it - Cannes is a great city to host a conference. everything is walkable and i ran into people on the street - lot less "AI x crypto" events than ETH Denver and other conferences. probably cuz we need to build product now - defi is back in a different and interesting way - lot of cool founders in town

The remarkable part? I built that entire frontend in about 10 hours, and it cost $60 for the v0 credits and subscription. Once I was happy with it, I handed the code to our engineering team to connect it to our backend and productionize it. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. v0 definitely has some issues. It can be slow, the code can be overcomplicated, and it can take a few tries to get simple things done like changing the styling of the nav bar. BUT, I was impressed with how quickly it allowed me to develop and deploy a basic frontend. It was a pretty cool experience to be able to design and develop a UI myself. I try to experiment with LLMs and agents as much as I can, but this is one of the few times that I saw a huge difference in my workflow. If you have a tool that you like, please share! 🤯💸💪😀

How we use AI at Impulse 🤔 When I started Impulse AI, we needed to build a functional frontend for the product. We didn’t have capacity on the team to build the frontend ourselves, so I started reaching out to contractors on Upwork. The estimates were somewhere between $3,000 to $5,000. The plan was to get the frontend built, and then our engineering team would take over to integrate it with our backend systems. Derek Anderson (thank you so much 😀) introduced me to v0 by Vercel. I figured, why not give it a shot? My process was fairly simple: For each page, I'd prompt for the basic layout, then focus on reducing unnecessary functionality to keep it lean, fix the user experience, and finally work on styling. What I built wasn't the most visually stunning application out there, but it’s intuitive, easy to use, and readable.

To empower entrepreneurs to better understand the market — and ensure fair andsustainable deal structures — below we share the foundational principles that inform how we define the scope of token rights and restrictions. We then highlight some of the predatory behaviors we’ve seen from some investors, and discuss how that behavior hurts projects. We also provide an explanation of provisions we use. Check out the full post here: https://a16zcrypto.com/posts/article/token-rights-in-term-sheets-how-to-avoid-predatory-deals/ @milesjennings

Something about decentralization that is rarely mentioned: As more users and contributors contribute to a product, it's more likely we end up building a better product, resulting in more value creation

I love how a bunch of laws be like: "This offense is punishable with up to thirty years of jail time inside a pit with a thousand snakes, or a fine of up to $125"
