Honestly, I’d been holding onto this idea, or maybe the hope, for a long time: that the next Farcaster rebrand would be done by Farcaster’s own community of designers. It’s something I brought up with some of them at FarCon. It just felt like such a powerful concept: uniting the creators behind legendary brands in this space like Higher, Neynar, Clanker, Degen, QR, Native, and so many others… Coming together, live, to do some “brand in public” and show, step by step, the value of building both a brand strategy and an identity together. That’s what branding is all about: crafting the invisible side of strategy and bringing to life the visible side of an organic, open, dynamic identity. Maybe I’m crazy or just a romantic, but it really would have been beautiful to do this with the brilliant minds of the Design Cabal…
