It was pretty amazing, though I was still in High School so I don’t think it meant as much to me then as it did when I got older and started working at record stores.
When I moved to Seattle, the job interview for Easy Street records was just a music nerd test. One of the questions was: Name the three albums from Bowie’s Berlin Era.
I named two of the three, but got the job based on seeing Bowie and my dense knowledge of all things Radiohead at the time
