Lil B was supposed to open the Trash Talk tour stop in Oakland. We were in the van when he called Lee Spielman, lead singer of Trash Talk. I remember Left Brain from Odd Future was rolling us all a blunt and Lil B asked to be put on speakerphone in the tour van so he could address us all. He goes on to tell us that because of a death threat on his life, he will not be able to attend the show. However, he does go on to give us a lengthy “based” prayer to bestow upon us all in order to bless the show and the rest of our trip. By the time the phone call was over, the entire van was hotboxed and we were all so fucking hyped / couldn’t believe what had just happened.
