Yeah the silty sand is a whole different beast when wet, or even dry. 

You need a dual sport like mine. It’s a decent go getter under 2k. I didn’t think it would last this long, parts are cheap and is street legal. It’s fun in the mucky mud! Haha

Funny thing...before I left Hyampom I went to the tire shop over in Hayfork and wanted to put on better off-road tires like my other Audi had. Dude told me....no way these are 80% and will do just fine 😭 some people lol
