Talking to people with communities if the new channel model becomes way less frictionless in managing members and using mini apps to have a home thatβs fully customizable (e.g. webapp) as companion then now you have - social community platform with feed - dm chat system + groupchat - custom home (mini app) thatβs easily reachable from channel (community platform) Thatβs powerful Add frames, cast actions and bots + the fact that the content and social graph wonβt be rugged The above is what people care about, the complaining is about friction. As we march on and remove friction weβre good

π―π―π― bring the app to the community either as a mini app or the βappβ can simply be the channel itself while using third party custom distribution tools as needed

guessing this can lead to each channel continuing to move in very different directions thatβs best for their community same interface, but highly custom βthings to doβ in each channel over time (as opposed to today where they are all fairly similar still)

Yep, some will be pure post collections similar to hashtags and discussions around that topic feed And some will be totally different Many in the middle

For my own community, we need these tools youβre talking about. Lots of channels are subject-specific, so like a museum we need a store, gallery and a way to talk to each other. A mini-app is a must have.
