went to an event by myself this weekend to support my friend opening the new location of their inclusive movement/fitness studio
was pretty nervous since i haven't been feeling super confident/strong lately but forced myself to go because i've been craving community
ended up leaving the event with 6 new insta friends, an invitation to a queer crafting club, and encouragement from multiple queens to try out drag at their afternoon amateur drag cafe 🥹
feeling very grateful for putting myself out there but also being part of and welcomed into such a warm, supportive community xoxo
