imagine putting years into developing a community on a decentralized platform, then taking a break once the vibes of said platform got super icky, and then coming back to said platform and seeing a bunch of people dunking on you because you decided to take a break for your mental health and the only reason they're dunking on you is bc of some correlation with your departure lining up with when that platform stopped giving out rewards and yeah you earned a good chunk of the rewards but folks aren't even considering that the rewards were an extra cherry on top - it was the vibes that kept you here and once the vibes were down bad and your friends started disappearing and the timeline was full of people talking about how bad the vibes were it became a place that no longer gave you joy and that's why you left not because you stopped getting $X per week
