The plastic coffee filter holder included with many glass pour over sets isn't needed and is potentially leaking microplastics into your coffee I brewed 8 tablespoons worth of whole beans only using a hemp filter and no filter holder

Alternatively, you can use a ceramic cone filter holder and do one cup at a time, like me!

Ceramic cone filters seem great for solo brews. I'm planning to buy affordable ones for family and friends homes to use with the reusable and travel friendly hemp coffee filter. Do you still need to use a filter with your ceramic holder?
