I really feel like Microsoft has just gotten sick of shipping software that works. They just want your money now. It's so gross. I've been using MSPaint since I could use a computer and the other day it asked me to login to onedrive to open this ancient gem on a school pc. I was so disgruntled I just signed off and did it on my Mac. I'm serious, it's like painful to use Windows even to print things, I'm going to pitch every institutional partner I ever work with on Linux as an OS that will just simply work. We'll use Windows VMs to do whatever we can't just get away from completely. I'm so far beyond done, may as well just forget MS was ever a thing.
