the rate at which i identify and start higher priority tasks before i finish an ongoing lower priority task needs to be studied like i still have not finished moving

somewhere, fairly recently, I heard someone say "just do the most important thing next, and everything will be fine." and... it has been. even as the stakes have climbed. i used to stress about lists and priorities, but now I just identify the most important thing to do and do it. i move faster, worry less, and I can't tempt myself with multitasking. so I think you're probably doing fine. you haven't fallen apart yet, right?
