Meta-Governance Updates — June 4 ✧

Yesterday’s meeting covered endowment updates and the OpenBox proposal, which positions ENS as the identity layer for tokenized TLDs via .box. 

A social proposal is expected soon, with technical/legal clarity to follow on the forum.

Endowment: ~$94.5M, slightly down from last week but within range. Yield is led by USDS (2.98% APR), with $2M in ETH pending redeployment. 

TWAP sale nearly complete (289 ETH left). Notably, Consensys-backed Sharplinks committed $425M to buy ETH.

ENS is considering OpenBox as its official non-exclusive registrar to lead TLD tokenization via .box. 

The proposal outlines partnerships, Namechain integration, and ICANN alignment.

The Working Group is finalizing an EP for Season 2 of the Service Provider Program, reflecting a $4.5M budget, updated streams, and two new providers. 

They're testing stream changes, transition payments, and allowances—DAO vote expected June 11.
