Mudskippers are a type of amphibious fish commonly found in mudflats, mangroves, and swamps across Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Unlike most fish, mudskippers can breathe through their skin and the lining of their mouth and throat, as long as they stay moist. They can also use their fins to "walk" on land, hop around, and climb over rocks or mud.
