Defense startup SkyDefense LLC has unveiled a new drone called the CobraJet, a product that is essentially a drone hunter and significantly reduces operating costs.
The CobraJet is designed specifically for anti-drone missions and uses electro-optical and infrared sensors from Teledyne FLIR. NVIDIA AI-based chips are actively present in the new SkyDefense LLC drone and process the sensor data.
The CobraJet is equipped with a proprietary Visual Real-Time Area Monitoring (VRAM) technology that allows ground operators to monitor the drone during operations and communicate with it if necessary.
The dedicated VRAM capability allows it to perform reconnaissance, patrol and target acquisition missions independently, but the final decision-making in critical situations will still be in the hands of humans. It is possible to communicate between different units of this drone in groups to ensure integrated operation against enemy drones.
