Here was my workflow:

-> Only tokens considered since the big public push on Farcaster "airdrops" - so around March of this year; this disqualifies $higher since it was such a long time ago (degen days) and was a very different situation well before recent marketing efforts. Higher performed very well since it was airdropped (although down 96% since all time highs) so just keep that in mind.

-> Did not consider Monad Testnet coin or $sol because those are also unique things; one is a testnet coin, and the drop obviously has no impact on Sol price

-> I basically took the top of the candle from the DAY BEFORE an airdrop, and measured % drop or growth to the bottom of the candle today. I just needed something consistent and defendable and that's what we went with.

-> I included a screenshot so you can see when it dropped, and a graph with the growth measured

Finally, I hit the thread post count so I will include the final 3 as a reply to the last post in this thread

One of my biggest fumbles in crypto was $HIGHER

I was there on the day @martin airdropped me ~500K tokens for following /higher 

Immediately after the token launched, I aped $100 to buy another ~700K $HIGHER and went to bed

The next morning, I checked the chart and saw people were dumping heavily 📉 However, my $HIGHER bag was now worth ~$1K, so I decided to cash out all of my tokens

From $100 to $1,000 is a very good trade, isn’t it?

Not so fast

A month or so later, Farcaster blew up in popularity for the first time. All Farcaster-related memecoins went parabolic in price, too 📈

The 1,2M $HIGHER tokens I sold for $1K was worth… over $200K 🤯😱😭

I fumbled generational wealth…

It’s almost impossible to discern what token would go up in price

Holding an airdrop and waiting for your bags to moon isn’t the best strategy

Selling an airdrop immediately after receiving it isn’t the best strategy either… Because it could 10x 😅

Token airdrops are the pit of despair 😵‍💫

I’ve learned not to paper hand airdrops I receive on Farcaster cos it could easily 5x-10x
