A few hours passed,
silent,
without a trace…
and the world
pressed heavier than ever
upon my heart.
Why can't there be peace in this world?
No voice,
no sign…
only silence,
burning through the soul.
Why must hearts and spirits
be played with like this?
Why should they be crushed
under the weight of pains they never asked for?
No one deserves
this silent kind of torment…
