Should parents get one extra vote per child? Just because the kids aren’t old enough to vote, their interests should still be accounted for right?

Yes, property owners, parents, people in full-time employment, should weigh 10x more than the votes of others. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athenian_democracy
