If your capital is between $5 and $100, never use 50x or 75x leverage. Stick to 10x leverage — this way, you can grow your portfolio to $1,000 more safely. The higher the leverage, the higher the risk. While higher leverage can be effective, it's only suitable for those using cross margin — and to use cross margin properly, you should have at least $1,000 in your account. Using cross margin with just $100 in your balance doesn’t make sense.
