水煮肉片 Shuizhu pork — a Sichuan dish made with pork and cabbage in a generous amount of chili oil. Although it’s originally from Sichuan, it’s recently become something of a local specialty in Sendai. Much like mapo tofu, it has that addictive quality. if it clicks with you, you’ll keep coming back for more. It wasn’t as spicy as it looked, and honestly, I wouldn’t mind having it once in a while. 8/10😋
