Just got my bill from my heart procedure. It came in at over $250,000. I have health insurance and already met my deductible so I’m not on the hook for anything but this is outrageous.

For sure. My work gives me funds to help meet my deductible and the rest I set aside through my HSA. If I didn’t have that, I wouldn’t have enough to meet my deductible. It would drain my savings. 

I can’t imagine having to pay the entire bill. We need to fix our healthcare system.
