Video isn't my favorite thing and I'll never make videos myself, but the push for video on the purple app makes sense for the sake of user growth.

A mission or vision like slowcore could be described as a "thirst," sure... but ever since the term "thirst trap" entered the modern vernacular, that word has taken on connotations I don't want to associate with.

You're welcome to curate whatever vibe you want in your channel, of course. It will attract some and repel others. I'm in the latter camp.
