I hesitated about whether it was appropriate to go ahead with something as silly as "Eggman Day" at a time like this, when the world feels so tense.
But the "Eggman virus" has already spread to 69 countries, including both the United States and Iran.
Strangely, it hasn’t reached Israel yet. Maybe that’s why the world still feels so unsettled.
So I’ve decided to go ahead with it anyway.
The yellow Eggman is all about happiness, and this is my small way of wishing for peace.
By coincidence, it lines up with the same five-day pause in attacks announced by President Trump.
Maybe, just maybe, if the virus reaches Israel too, the world might become a little more peaceful.
