since there is just 1 hour left from this drop!!!!, i want to share a bit about the elements in this design: the butterfly is inspired by japan’s national butterfly, a symbol of rebirth and as these past months have felt like a personal rebirth for me, transformation sits at the core of nakama the cherry blossoms nod to tokyo’s 1912 gift of 3000 cherry trees to washington dc, and is a symbol of friendship that survives history. and “nakama” is a word for someone you might only see rarely, but when you finally meet irl, it feels like no time has passed at all. if that feeling lives in your life too, there is an edition for you as well!!!!🌹

blaming ai for giving birth to slop is wrong. imo slop came to life the moment we started treating everything in our lives as content. or the moment we were forced to. for example the idea that people are being watched is what gave birth to “acting”, not the camera or the tv.🌹

Today this just got delivered in the mail Been thinking a lot about a way to spread kindness, the idea that it's free, and also beautiful. I still think a phygital world will happen because people are still drawn to digital, even as they start wanting more physical experiences That said, can we find another term for "phygital"? I know that at some point people will start talking about this convergence more again, and I absolutely hate this term🌹

happy wild wednesday. i am 27 today. i still can’t fully comprehend that i’ve lived for more than two decades. i’ve been through many things in my journey, and i’m deeply grateful for every single one of them, because they brought me to where i am and who i am today. i used to make lists with “x things i’ve learned” and all that. but i’m not going to do that this year, because i think the most important lesson i’ve learned is to listen to God. everything else comes second. all the wisdom, advice, hacks, and whatever i might be searching for will follow, because i have something, or Someone, to guide us. and also i guess that having my birthday on a wild wednesday means something, right??? what do you think it means???🌹
