NYC Mayor Eric Adams announced crypto-friendly moves at Permissionless. Plans include crypto payments for city services and digital asset education in schools. He’ll form a council to push pro-crypto policies and slammed ex-governor Cuomo’s “misguided” regulations. Adams aims to bypass the comptroller for his Bitcoin-backed bonds plan. He still holds his three Bitcoin paychecks and will run as an independent in November.
