𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶'𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝘄 s𝗼𝗺𝗻𝗶𝗮 

I came across somnia recently, and after spending some time on it, I’ve decided I’m going to stick around. 

here’s why. 

they’re building something I feel like a lot of people have overlooked.. which is a way to make your digital identity actually mean something. 

- What they’re doing is this

you get one profile (Somnia ID) and that’s basically you across anything that plugs into the network... the ID is made to move with you across different apps, games and platforms.

The Metaverse Computer. 
Somnia is an L1 blockchain and a set of omnichain protocols that connect metaverses, enabling a new, open, and unified virtual society.

It keeps track of what you’ve done, traits you’ve unlocked, missions you’ve completed, and stuffs like that. so if you hop into a new app or world, you’re not starting from afresh again. 

personally i see it as a username that grows with you. 

then on the tech side, they’re building a chain that’s made to handle all this in real time (fast). 
they claim up to 1 million transactions per second and yeah, that’s why you’ll hear them called the fastest evm compatible chain out there. (evm just means it works with ethereum tools and apps). 

so yeah, that’s why I’m fw @somnia 
i like the direction.
i like the setup.
and i feel like it’s something I can build with.
