QC the first CD you ever bought.

I got this from Columbia House along with a bunch of others, but this was the only one I chose.  They were super popular in my Grade 6 class but I never heard them.  When I first listened I had no idea what I was listening to.  Great album!

My first CD(s) was also a Colombia House mail order. I don't remember exactly when or what else I got in that order, but I definitely picked all these ones very specifically. 

A lot about Livin, and a Little 'bout Love was a foundation of my understanding of the world at the time.

My first time calling in to a radio show I asked them to play the whole album. I wasn't even 10 yet, definitely didn't have permission to call the radio 🤣

(And yes, I have a hard time getting rid of stuff)

How the hell else were we supposed to fill those Case Logic cases that would eventually get stolen?

It makes so much sense, looking back on this history, why we just skip all these jumping through hoops and just go straight to stealing directly from the artists now by streaming it!

That's all it's ever been! 😂

Key lesson in there though. Artists make money when people go to shows and buy merch. Data will flow so we gotta figure out the IRL ish for Web3
