I just finished this book (believe it or not in a “In and out” parking lot on the way to LA which somehow seems fitting. I just stood there because I was almost done and read the entirety of Notes on “Camp” in one go) A Review: A lot of good essays. On Style. notes on “camp” come to mind. I’ll focus on those. Great overview of art and how it came into being in the backdrop of the 1960s in New York. In many ways, trends of where art was going at the time and where technology was going and moving towards seems generally contemporary and could be words that I read in a blog post somewhere. Of course there are some ideas that are outdated but overall my feeling about how art is perceived and created doesn’t feel like it’s significantly changed in the past 50 years. If anything artists creators writers etc. in a modern setting have been struggling to find meaning in an increasingly complex and difficult age of mechanical reproduction hard. It also highlights Susan Sontag’s ambition or at least desire to create something interesting and lasting as she had just arrived in NYC with something to prove just as the 60s was happening.

The most mysterious of the Base wealth creation events from 2024 was Aero. 2 to 800m in 6 months, eventually to 1.5b. Early on nobody was talking about it on Farcaster though here would be the most obvious place to find alpha about something like that. Feels like everyone missed it but there it was, plain as day, incredibly obvious in retrospect. I wonder if it was more CT people that did well on it. Any early Aero whales here?

A few bug fixes and QOL improvements have just been released. The one’s that you’ll notice are 🌟 You can now “Share & Action All Pets” at once. This is available once per hour, and you are only required to share a cast once every 12 hours. All actions (Play, Clean, Feed, Share) for all pets that aren’t on cooldown will be executed at once, but only earn half XP. Individual actions are still available too, but earn the full XP amount. 💅 The “My FarPets” page has had a bit of a facelift. Now includes basic search and filters for your FarPets & Warp Eggs. You can now more easily navigate between pets without having to close the drawer each time ⚡️ Plus, a few under the hood changes that hopefully make the Mini App a little snappier and caching better Give it a test and let me know what you think 😊 A few more little issues to iron out, then onto some exciting new feature work https://farcaster.xyz/miniapps/PxBmrtUbCGLI/farpets
