wanted to give my (abridged) 2c on the convos around the state of the protocol and the developer/client ecosystem: /fc-devs have never been in a better position: - full fledged ecosystem providers like /neynar exist & support/make devex easier for a wide range of devs (as well as tons of open source infra) - merkle/warpcast is putting in work across the stack(all the way to new snapchain work) to improve QoL for devs & users, with some important pieces coming that will give other clients even more interop with warpcast - the legos with building blocks like app frames are getting so much better and the social graph is getting richer - we're on the verge of a massive year/bull run for crypto does that mean there aren't still particular developer gripes or that the protocol is at "pmf"? no, i acknowledge all of that -- but i don't think there are problems as existential/locked into one client or vendor as some folks make them seem

separately wanted to address this comment below -- i think the desire for more OSS and specifically more examples of modules other devs can use that aren't as publicly available makes total sense but when devs need new modules i think that's actually a great opportunity for the community because either ecosystem providers can step in or if something is needed so much then folks can even crowdfund a bounty all this to say: if things are needed i think the community is going to listen and developers will be in the same boat, both merkle and the ecosystem try to do quite a bit to act in good faith and help developers https://warpcast.com/dalechyn.eth/0x65347e23
