New on Warpcast: invite directly to channel - Gift a Farcaster account - Select channels that the user will be immediately onboarded to - Share via a link or QR code (no more clunky email flow) - Improved claim flow with an invite code (see next cast)

Once a user is invited, they can add the invite code on the payment screen. When they finish onboarding, the channels pre-selected by the inviter will be pinned on their home screen.

This is really cool! My pod was planning on dropping another article on Farcaster, and I think we can use this to onboard directly on the channel so our recruits will already have a community to be a part of. ๐Ÿ‘

Awesome - really like this onboarding flow! I wish that the new user didn't hit a payment screen as their first-time user experience, and I second Dylan's proposal for some kind of new user fund. Know you said at Dev Day that Merkle may fund some new user onboarding, but think it would be a nice per-channel feature (and up to the channel owner whether or not they want to use it) https://warpcast.com/dylsteck.eth/0xa70a7943

Does this fix past invite links that didnt work through email flow? If i paid but they havent been able to claim yet how do we try again with this flow?

this is awesome โ€” would be a cool add-on if there was some โ€œnew user fundโ€ per channel where members/mods can pool together warps that could be used to fund invite links to a channel

Would love to be able to pay for multiple in a single code. Ex: we have budget to pay for 50 spots. We email people and say, โ€œfirst 50 to sign up via the link are covered by us.โ€ Would like to be able to provide a signup link like this as well without having to gift.
