exactly, this is the problem. i have been talking about this in farcasters context & feel that rewards do not channel their curiosity about anything. its just another avenue to earn/farm.

While it’s awesome to see solana infra used, I think airdrops for growth model isn’t what socialFI should be. You end up with a bunch of airdrop farmers at best, and bots on average. Imho, figure out a way to surface DAO asset management into groups and social and charge bips

farcaster was hub to high value conversations before airdrops / rewards showed up definitely, you need numbers to stay relevant as a social layer but then it depends what kind of audience you’re targeting if you want to entertain high value content, focus & optimise for that if you want numbers, channel rewards, g
