Looking for channel owners that spend at least 5 hours a week on growing and managing their channels.
I had a group of people like this last fall, but a bunch of those people no longer seem to be actively working on their channel.
Want to find the people that are *currently* committed to channels.
Please reply here if that’s you.

i stopped investing time in channels because they were de-prioritized. would happily reverse course if i knew it wouldn't be wasted effort

when you said they were :)
buoy > dwr.eth > "channels"
many many examples of you saying they're hard, didn't facilitate growth, and are no longer a priority. feel like you guys made a valiant effort post-farcon 2 that petered out around summer/fall 24'

I'm with @nonlinear.eth - I stopped putting time into moderating and curating /slowcore-hq because channels were de-prioritized, and because we didn't have a sustainable economic model so we struggled with moderator attrition.
I wrote a long post (pinned in the channel) about why the mods decided to put /slowcore-hq into extended hibernation.
It's a small cozy corner, but it's well-loved by its followers.
I'd gladly invest time to revive it and develop a membership model for it if (as Jonny said) I knew it wouldn't be wasted effort.

i no longer create new channels or moderate any of my channels, i even rarely look into them
i only post to channels as opposed to my home feed because i think it still gives visibility boost?
without the algo boost i'd only post to my home feed

You are saying channels give no visibility boost?
Shouldn't following a channel funnel casts from followed channels into the home or following feed?
That counts as more visibility in my book.
Otherwise it should be called "favorite" not "follow"?

Some of us are still here! I’d love to launch some more tbh.
Hoping for some channel love. Love what @cura is doing. Hoping Farcaster and Cura can keep deepening their collaboration.

I reached out last summer about assisting new people creating channels growing communities etc
I broched the subject regarding a channel ambassadors or community Stewards
Your response was along the lines of at this time it's not a priority but when it does I'll let you know.
I'm still here happy to help as much as I can.
We have a great community with @zwillow @janicka @garywilbanks2 @podom.eth @theonlycakeone doing most of the the work

/guiltypop but otherwise stopped investing in my channels when comms said they weren’t a priority anymore and when the channel notifications tab became a separate tab

As someone that may have better insight to the overall inner workings of Farcaster
Do you think we should make them a priority?
Not asking if making them a priority anymore is a mistake, just if they should now "possibly" be a priority?
If so what's the top priority in making that happen with community engagement and participation/buy in?
