Seems like we're about to get the AI eras version of a Instagram / Snap A/B test with Windsurf / Cursor. One selling to market leader and the other staying independent (with OpenAI owning a big stake from an earlier investment).
Generational fumble for Microsoft, GitHub / Copilot / VSCode.
