Looking for input on opt-in / customizable token alerts

1. Do you use alerts in other apps / wallets?

2. Do you typically like to set an alert when: a) a token reaches a certain price b) % change c) market cap d) your PnL?

Examples:

Alert me when token reaches $0.02

Alert me when token starts trading 5% below current price?

Alert me when I've made 100%

Or something else?

3. Alert me when X, Y and Z bought a token under X mcap in a 30 minute window.

Re: 2 - Usually B or C;  Price isn't as helpful bc most people pay much closer to market cap or PnL rather than token price since total token supply can be 1B+

They've definitely been helpful, though I've admittedly only used them a few times starting about a week or two ago, to notify me when tokens I wanted to DCA into dipped to levels I wanted to buy in at

It might be nice to have a slider for certain MCAP/price levels, though I'm not sure if that would be clean to implement in the mobile app (I use mobile app on Android)

The biggest reason I'd like this directly as part of FC wallet is so I don't have to go to the separate app to do this stuff, since that can be more effort than it's sometimes worth on mobile

Is this the kind of thing you guys can work directly with the FC team and folks at Matcha together to implement FC native notifications for price alerts paired with limit orders?

how's geckoterminal alerts working out for you so far?

I would love variations of this plus limit orders, preferably in the same flow (include options to alert and execute limit order) 

It'd be great to see FC encourage responsible stop loss practices through this, for example

I've recently set some alerts on @geckoterminal android app but failed to set up limit orders correctly on FC @matchaxyz mini app

Bringing it all into one native flow in the FC wallet would be awesome functionality

Could see gating or behind pro subscription as reasonable if it's a heavy lift

limit orders solve pretty much everything, everything else is tracked through charts/txns

I’d like to see controls on what constitutes “trending” - alerts. Eg. when 10 vs. 100 people I know are buying …

I often do this on dex screener, setting i notification when it drops X amount to curb my losses, or when it goes up X amount.

- Alert me when token starts trading 5% below or above current price

I've never seen the "alert me when i make 100%" but that could be interesting, like a reverse stop loss notification

Yes, I do!  Tonight I received this token alert from Coinbase... I find token alerts like these very useful! It came as an intrusive alert/pop-up but was an opt in.

Price and % change alerts are table stakes. The real unlock for a Farcaster-native app is leveraging the social graph.

I'd love an alert that fires when someone I follow buys or sells a specific token I'm watching.

It's a subtle but important distinction from apps like @interface. They excel at wallet-first alerts (i.e., "what did this person just do?"). This would be token-first (i.e., "who that I follow is interacting with this token?"). And have an ability to choose these notifications for a specific token or group of tokens.

That's a much stronger signal than just price movement. It's tracking conviction, which feels interesting in social graph.
