Disagree. Builder rewards not big enough. Apps should be sustainable businesses independent of pro.

does that mean then that usage of tools built on the proto won’t provide signal to the rewards system if said usage isn’t surfaced in the centralized app?

e.g. if alice uses /wyat but never casts their checkins, is that usage not factored into their rewards

Contribute to the rewards system — that’s permissionless. Data is onchain. 

Receiving rewards — the problem to solve here is fraud. It’s basically unsolvable outside of a centralized app (what we do today).

we agree on the necessary sustainability of good tools. is there not also a path for said tools built on the proto to also contribute to the rewards system
