1. Personal channel -- your home feed. It comes with your Farcaster account. :) 2. There are 13K channels (at 2500 warps a pop). Arguably there are too many channels! 3. If channels are really working in terms of building many thriving communities, then we can figure out if reducing price is the right lever. But channel cost isn't the limiting factor right now.

Building a thriving channel is a commitment. If they can't commit to the cost of the channel - especially when there are ways you can literally earn enough to buy the channel just for casting - then I'd have to question the commitment to actually running a decent channel.

Do you think releasing channels (even giving back part of the fee) would reduce this number? I know I've created a couple that later realized I wouldn't be able to maintain and they are just dead, and I'd be happy to release/kill.

Why is that too high? I think it is too low. I'd open more if I had the warps. Love going to individual channels to get the info I want to consume on that day. Don't like 23 channels being the same content from different people though and I feel the channel changes might lead to that.
